Jessica has been supporting new parents and babies since 2009. She began her journey as a La Leche League Leader when she was answering more questions than she was asking in meetings. Jessica was a LLL Leader for over 10 years and worked as a postpartum doula and with BabyWearing International. All of these things led to being certified as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2016. This was quite a big change from life as a Graphic Designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Nevertheless, it was a great move to supporting and advocating for families full time. Jessica is the current co-chair of the Loudoun Breastfeeding Coalition and enjoys teaching expecting parents and everyone she meets. Jessica is originally from the Midwest but grew up as an Army Brat so a little bit of everywhere. Jessica has three kids, one at VCU, a rising high schooler who plays ice hockey all year and the youngest in middle school who is trying to bankrupt her family with her love of horses. She spends any free time reading and adding books to her TBR.
