Book an Appointment at Milk In Motion-Home Visit - Loudoun County Home Visit
We’re so glad you’re here—let’s get you scheduled!
Lactation Support
This visit offers individualized support for you and your baby during the postpartum period, whether you are days, weeks, or months into your feeding journey. Common concerns addressed include latching difficulties, nipple pain, milk supply issues, combo feeding, weight gain concerns, transitioning back to work and more. We’ll work together to assess feeding, create a plan that aligns with your goals, and support you with evidence-based guidance and compassionate care. Follow-up support is available as needed. Partners or support people are welcome to attend.
Pump Support
This visit is designed for parents who are exclusively pumping, combining nursing and pumping, or preparing to begin pumping. We’ll review your current routine and goals, assess your pump and flange fit, and help optimize output, comfort, and efficiency. Whether you’re building a freezer stash, returning to work, managing an oversupply or low supply, or navigating pumping while nursing, this appointment provides personalized guidance to help you feel more confident and supported in your feeding plan.
Bottle Feeding Support
This visit is for parents who are offering bottles—whether full-time, part-time, or planning to introduce them—and need support with technique, flow preference, pacing, or bottle refusal. We’ll explore strategies to help your baby accept the bottle, troubleshoot refusal, assess feeding mechanics, and ensure your baby is feeding safely and comfortably. Whether you’re preparing to return to work, transitioning from nursing, or exclusively bottle feeding, this session is tailored to meet your unique feeding goals and challenges.
Prenatal Support
Prepare for a confident feeding journey before your baby arrives. This prenatal visit is designed for expectant parents who want to learn about breastfeeding, chestfeeding, or bottle feeding ahead of time. We'll cover what to expect in the early days after birth, how to establish a good milk supply, positioning and latch techniques, how to recognize feeding cues, and how to avoid common challenges. This is also a great opportunity to discuss your personal goals and any concerns based on your medical history, past feeding experiences, or birth plan. Partners are welcome and encouraged to join.
